Warranty terms
  1. UNI PLATINUM SP. Z O.O. SP.K. with its registered office in Warsaw, 01-227 Warszawa, ul. Szymczaka 5 lok.24 entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, 14th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under number 0000763482, with a share capital of PLN 198,000.00, paid up in full, with NIP: 525-277-47-26, REGON: 382090323, hereinafter referred to as the Guarantor, grants a guarantee for the products sold, unless information placed on the page next to the product in the online storesmartkontrol.eu indicates that the warranty for this product was provided by another entity. In this case, the terms of the warranty provided by the third party apply.
  2. The warranty is valid only in the territory of the Republic of Poland and applies only to products purchased through Uni Platinum Sp. z o. o. Sp. k.
  3. Under this Guarantee, the Guarantor is not liable for obvious defects of the Product, i.e. for defects which the Purchaser knew at the time of concluding the Agreement or could easily find out.
  4. The Guarantor ensures good quality and efficient operation of the Products, provided that the Products are used correctly, in accordance with their intended purpose and the principles of proper maintenance and use, as indicated in the instruction manual of a given Product, are observed.
  5. The Guarantor provides a warranty for products ranging from 12 to 60 months from the date of conclusion of the sales contract. The warranty period is each time provided on the product page or warranty card attached to the product or on the product packaging.
  6. The defect should be reported immediately, but not later than within 60 days of its occurrence.
  7. If the buyer is an entrepreneur, the guarantor grants a 12-month warranty for the product, while the defect should be reported immediately, but not later than within 14 days of its occurrence.
  8. The condition for considering the complaint is to return the defective device to the Guarantor's office, present the Guarantor with proof of purchase of the goods and a completed complaint card.
  9. The buyer who advertises the product on the basis of the Guarantee, in the complaint notification provides:
    • Name of the defective device and order number,
    • Date of installation and bill/invoice issued by the installer (if applicable),
    • The date the defect was discovered,
    • A detailed description of the defect and the circumstances of its disclosure.

  10. At the request of the Guarantor, the Buyer is obliged to provide a photocopy of the invoice/bill issued by the installer and the technical documentation of the installation. At the request of the Guarantor, the Buyer should allow the Guarantor's representative access to the installation in order to carry out an expert opinion.
  11. If the Guarantor accepts the validity of the warranty claim, he will, at his discretion, repair the device free of charge, replace it with a new one or refund the Buyer the amount corresponding to its purchase price.
  12. The claimed device with all accessories should be delivered in the original packaging. The Buyer is responsible for damage to the device resulting from the use of inappropriate packaging.
  13. Warranty repairs will be made in the shortest possible time, not exceeding 14 days, but in exceptional situations (e.g. resulting from the need to import parts from abroad) it may be extended to 28 days. The buyer is always informed about such a situation. This time is counted from the moment the Guarantor receives the device under complaint together with the proof of purchase and the complaint form completed by the Buyer.
  14. The warranty is not extended by the time of repair of the Product or its part, which means that after the execution of the Warranty rights, the Warranty granted for the Product or the replaced part is not extended or renewed.
  15. In the event of replacement of a defective product or its part with a new one, pursuant to point 9, the replaced Product or its part shall become the property of the Guarantor
  16. The warranty covers only defects caused by reasons inherent in the Product, not attributable to the Purchaser
  17. The warranty is granted only to the original purchaser of the Product. The sale of the Product to a third party does not transfer the warranty rights to it.
  18. The electrical device may only be connected and installed by persons with appropriate authorizations and qualifications.
  19. The warranty does not cover:
    • Mechanical damage and defects caused by it, transport damage as well as resulting from external factors beyond the control of the Guarantor, such as, among others: flooding, moisture, too low or high temperature, fire, lightning, overvoltage, short circuit in the network, fluctuations in the voltage of the power supply network , the action of chemical and other factors.
    • Improper installation of the device, inconsistent with the instructions, or using it contrary to its intended use and the industry rules and standards in force in Poland, in particular electrical safety standards.
    • Improper use of the device inconsistent with the documents attached to it, including in particular the specification, manual and indications contained therein regarding the permissible electrical values and environmental external conditions.
  20. The buyer loses the warranty rights in the event of breaking the seals, removing the rating plate or unauthorized repair or interference in the construction of the device.
  21. The warranty does not cover costs related to disassembly and assembly of the device. The warranty does not cover the maintenance of Products, replacement and repair of naturally consumable components, replacement of consumables, removal of dirt, removal of scratches or erasure of inscriptions.
  22. The Guarantor is not liable for losses and damages related to the inability to use the device under repair.
  23. The warranty rights do not include the Buyer's right to demand reimbursement of lost profits, compensation for damage to property and other not previously mentioned in connection with device defects.
  24. The warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the Buyer's rights under the provisions on warranty for defects in the sold item.
